Zero Waste

Zero Waste Foundation President Samed Ağırbaş held an important meeting with the Armenian Patriarch of Turkiye Sahak Maşalyan. During the meeting where environmental awareness and zero waste movement issues were discussed, projects and collaborations that will cover all segments of the society were emphasized.
Patriarch Sahak Maşalyan emphasized the need to protect the environment and use natural resources sustainably and expressed his support for the zero waste movement. Stating that environmental sensitivity overlaps with the common values of faiths, Maşalyan expressed that they are ready to contribute to the work to be done in this regard.
Samed Ağırbaş said in his statement after the meeting, “The importance that the Patriarch of the Armenians of Turkiye Sahak Maşalyan attaches to environmental awareness and his support for the zero waste movement is very valuable for us. As the Foundation, we continue our efforts to involve all segments of society in this movement. This meeting with Mr. Patriarch was a great step in spreading zero waste awareness to the masses.”
Within the scope of the meeting, it was agreed to work jointly on projects to raise awareness on zero waste. It is also planned to organize awareness activities and training programs, especially in schools.
The Zero Waste Foundation aims to build an environmentally sensitive future through such collaborations.
